Just got done watching Halo Legends ala Netflix.

It's pretty good I guess. The first two Origin episodes do a great job explaining some things I didn't know. I'm guessing they are cannon. The other episodes all have something redeeming about them, but none of them are truly amazing.

The Duel has some awesome fighting and a sweet art style, but everything else is just silly as hell. They turned Elites into Japanese swordsmen, and their culture was like ancient Japan. Still. Was mostly enjoyable.

Homecoming had the best story to it, but not a lot of action.

The Package was pretty good, done up in computer graphics instead of anime style. Another one with some really good action and a decent story.

My favorite one though, was Odd One Out which basically ripped on both anime cliches and Halo. It was hysterical. Spartan 1337 was that "I'm so full of myself" hero and the fighting in it was Dragonball Z style. It was great.

Everything else was pretty forgettable though.

So yesterday i got the latest issue of Jump, and man am i loving this Whitebeard War storyline. I just now looked on wikipedia, and counted 33 chapters between the English and Japanese, but more importantly, it seems that coming up, the series is gonna pull a naruto by going on hiatus for a short while, and then when it comes back the story will have jumped ahead 2 whole years. Interesting...

Yeah. I think so. At least half of em are worth watching anyways. The first two do a great job kinda telling the backstory of Halo, then Odd One Out is hilarious.

Uh. Duel is good, love the animation style. Last one on there is good because it's like non stop action.

So yeah. i'd say it's worth a watch.
