Games of 2010 and Pre-Orders Options

I'm really looking forward to Metroid: Other M, and Mario Galaxy 2.

I'd also really like to get Fragile [Dreams], but I'm waiting on the reviews to come in on that game, even though I was creaming all over it up until now. (It's not like Sadness that I would get even if it got a 0/10 on Metacritic. xP!!!)

And most of all, if we get it next year, my Number-1 anticipated game of next year...

As for my pre-ordering habits, I'll pre-order the game if I want to get it at launch and I feel there's a chance I might not get it at launch, or if it's a Tales game so I can support the gods of all other games. I will be pre-ordering Galaxy2 and Other M, for example, and Graces as well.

I used to pre-order my games as soon as it was possible, years in advance, but I don't do that anymore. Once pre-order bonuses came to existence, I now wait til the game is about to launch before I choose where I will make my pre-ordering from.

For example, I got Resident Evil 4 from a GameStop about 25 minutes away from my house so I could get the GameStop-Exclusive Limited Edition red tin case with the other shit inside it (even though I lost something in there, but that's not the point) instead of getting from the EB down the street (which has now become a GameStop, but that's not the point either).


It was hard to choose one poll answer for this one, but I said "I pre-order regularly, and am not ashamed to admit it," even though I won't be pre-ordering a game if I don't plan on getting it at launch. I also don't see what there is to be ashamed of when it comes to pre-ordering. ^__^U

I'm big interested in Mario Galaxy 2, Other M, and Golden Sun DS, but it seems there hasn't been any thing new on them since last e3. Oh, and though it'll probably not be a 2010 title, i'd like to hear some info on Zelda Wii.

Also, i'm anticipating the soon-to-be released Pokemon HGSS

As for pre-ordering, if i know i'm gonna get a game at launch, then i'll usually pre-order. Free gifts are just a nice bonus.

So far the only game I have down for preorder is FFXIII. I plan on adding Monster Hunter Tri pending some preorder bonus and possible Arc Rise Fantasia. I'm looking forward to a crapload of games for Wii, 360, DS but only a few I'm guaranteed to pick up without a doubt and even less I plan on preordering.

There are a ton of games I'm looking forward to already. Mass Effect 2 is one of my most anticipated games EVAR, as is SW:TOR. FFXIII is going to be a must-buy as well. There are a whole lot more that I'm just not thinking off off the top of my head. I haven't preordered anything yet, but I'm going to be at least reserving ME2 somewhere this week.

Right now, my biggest focus is beating Dragon Age before it comes out!

Yeah, I'm passively keepin' a little bit of an eye on Art Rise Fantasia. I don't know if I'll like it too much and I'm waiting for reviews and stuff, but part of me thinks this could be my next Baten Kaitos. I got into that game almost blindly, and it ended up being one of my favorite of games of all time, even as an RPG with turn-based battles, which I tend to dislike in most games.

Well I already got No More Heroes 2 (bought it the day it came out.) so that's one down. The next one I KNOW I'm getting is Mega Man 10 (I'm a Mega Man nut, it's my favortie gaming franchise EVER!) and I'm going to get Perfect Dark when it lands on XBL. I want to get mass effect 2 but that's on the back burner for now. I'd like to see the new Metroid and the new Mario come out this year but who knows.

I'm pumped for Metroid: Other M, and Halo: Reach probably most of all, but interested in Bioshock 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 2
