Angry Birds was their 52 game? I guess that's a shitload of trial and error. I dunno how shallow/terribad the rest of their games were prior to AB, but at least we know it wasn't someone fiddling with shit and stumbling across fuck-jillions of dollars, like (I believe) that WoW-ripoff Minecraft guy did.
I don't see the point in expanding so much. Did they have so many ideas that they wanted to keep hiring more people to make new IPs? I guess they did make a shitload of spinoffs and adaptations... I guess that's where they allocated their resources. That's prolly what they did with their money.
