After resting up from beating the gym leader the day before, i was ready to continue. First i found a galactic grunt in pastoria and chased him out of town. Then my rival came along and i trounced him without even breaking a sweat. I wonder if he's even trying anymore. Anyways, before continuing, i contemplated the balance of my current team. I didn't really have any water pokemon on my team. I decided to take that gyarados i had obtained the other day and train it till it was caught up with the rest of my team, which was only another 10 levels. First though, since my current team already had six members, i had to choose someone to replace. I ultimately decided to get rid of Kricketune, since all i was using him for anymore was rock smash, for when traveling, and sing, to capture wild pokemon. I flew back to some previous areas to train Gyarados to lv. 30. It learned some pretty good moves as it leveled up, too. Now i was ready to continue on my way.
I flew back to pastoria. Before continuing, i checked out the Great Marsh area. I got the defog HM, and caught a few new pokemon, including hoothoot, marill, quagsire, and this kick-ass scorpion pokemon. Now i was ready to continue and chase down that galactic grunt. I followed him to the next route, which was a beach-front. Along the beach was a neat resort. I checked out some of the buildings, chatted with people, and got some neat items. I kept following the grunt, until i finally cornered him. I beat his ass badly in a battle, and then he cowardly retreated into a blocked off area where i couldn't follow. Suddenly, this chick dressed in black showed up. I remember running into her before in eternia city. Her name is Cynthia. We chatted for a bit, and she gave me some special potion for the psyduck back on route 210. Before heading there, though, i kept going forward on the current route until i found myself back in Veilstone. On the route just before returning to the city, there was a nifty cave. Inside i found and caught a cool hippo pokemon. Following the long underground tunnel, i found i was back in the ruins in Solaceon town. This new part of the ruins had the final two unown, ! and ?. Needless to say, I caught them both.
Now that i was back in Solaceon, i just had to go north to find route 210 and the psyduck roadblock. I gave them the potion, and they cleared out. Cynthia showed up, now that the path was clear, and asked me a favor. She wanted me to follow the path to Celestic town and deliver a charm to her grandmother there. As i traveled forward, i found the path started getting foggy. I was somehow able to navigate through, though the fog made battling a bit difficult. Eventually i made it to Celestic town. I stopped by the pokemon center and the store. In the store, this guy gave me a free pair of glasses. Ironic, since in real life i'll be getting new glasses next week. Anyways, i found Cynthia's granny, who was a bit concerned cuz some Galactic grunt was threatening to destroy the city with a bomb. I chased him off with little difficulty. Suddenly, this guy who i'd met in the mountains earlier, showed up, said some odd things again, introduced himself as Cyrus, and then took off. He seams weird. I got my eye on him. Cynthia's granny came up to thank me, and saw the charm i was supposed to deliver. As thanks, she gave me the surf HM, which i taught to Gyarados, and showed me around the shrine. The legends she told me were odd, but interesting. Though unclear now, hopefully i'll figure it out eventually. With the Surf move, now i needed the Hearthorn gym badge to use it. I hope the leader will accept my challenge this time. But that can wait till tomorrow. It was getting late, so i rested up at pokemon center, saved, and quit for the night.

OK, so the first thing i did today was challenge Hearthome's gym leader. She's cocky, but was a decent challenge. Now that i have her badge, I went back to several previous areas to use surf to reach some previously unreachable items. Then i used surf to reach the optional area Fuego Ironworks. Also, i checked out the sea routes south of Sandgem town. I found where the Pal Park will be, but for the moment, the guards said it's still being set up. Wasn't much else to do now, so i headed on my way to the next town. I traveled on route 218 to Canalave City. On the way, my monkferno, Son Goku, reached lv. 36 and evolved into an infernape. Yay! Anyways, once i got to the town, I saved at the Pokemon center and then quit for the night.

Picking up where i left off, I'm now in Canalave city. I found my rival aching for a battle, but i seriously out-leveled him. I took on the gym leader, whom i defeated with little trouble. After leaving the gym, my rival returned and asked me to meet him in the library. I didn't go just yet, cuz there was some other stuff i wanted to do first. I used the town's harbor to travel to the iron island, where i beat some galactic grunts and got a Riolu egg. I had to make a serious decision on who Riolu would replace, and as much as i didn't want to, i came to the logical conclusion that my beloved Bunnie was the least useful member on my team. I didn't want to let her go, but i had no choice. So now with my new egg, i ran around the grass outside of Canalave training the rest of my team to lv. 40. When everyone reached their goal, then egg still wasn't ready to hatch. I just ran around in circles then until it did. I used my pedometer to keep track, and it took about 6,100-something steps. Now i spent some time training my new Riolu to get he caught up with the rest of my team. I used an exp. share until he got to about lv. 12, then i just trained him individually in areas with weaker Pokemon. Right now he's at lv. 25. I'll be doing some more training the next day.

I finished up my training. Riolu evolved into Lucario at lv. 28, and then i kept training until he has at lv. 40, along with the rest of my team. I went to the Canalave library to meat with Prof. Rowan. Long story short: I had to check out the three lakes. I beat off the Galactic members from lakes Valor and Verity. I had to do some traveling to get to the final lake. I scaled the wintery mountains, which were a pain in the ass. I managed to catch a sneasle, snover, and medicham along the way. I also found the HM08. I used it to teach Rock Climb to Son Goku. I eventually made it to snowpiont city. I couldn't get at the nearby lake just yet. In the the city, i traded my newly caught medicham for a haunter, but the bitch had it holding an everstone so it wouldn't evolve into a gengar after trading it. I took on the gym, which was a little tough due to the mixed types used, but i managed to prevail.
With the gym badge, i could now get into lake Acuity. There were no battles there, but i did see my rival lose to a Galactic Commander. It became clear that my next stop would be the Galactic Grand Headquarters in Veilstone city. However, before i barged in there, i decided to do a little more training. I want my team to be all at lv. 45 before i stage my invasion. I so far got Son Goku to lv. 45, and i started working on Staraptor. It was getting late, so i decided to resume the training tomorrow.

I finished my training. I sneaked into the back door of the galactic base, stole the key, and then barged right in through the front door. I made my way through the building, fighting off grunts along the way. I eventually found Cyrus, who was incredibly weird and strange. He seemed completely devoid of personality and quite nihilistic. I beat him, and in exchange he gave me a master ball and permission to free the three mirage pokemon. He didn't even seem to care. Oddball. Anyways, in the next room, where the three were being held captive, a commander tried to stop me. I beat him, so he let me free them and told me a little bit about what they had done with them. I was interested, but he didn't know anything more. Since Cyrus had told me before he left that he was going to mount coronet, that was my next stop.
I scaled mt. coronet. On the way i caught a bronzong. I fought many grunts on the way. I made it to the top, finally. I fought my way through the two commanders, with the help of my rival, but he proved to be just dead weight. He was dragging me down the whole damn battle. I'm surprised i won at all with his incompetence. At least he offered to heal my team after the battle. Unfortunately, while i was busy bailing out that loser, Cyrus already managed to summon Dialga. I beat him away, while the three Mirage Pokemon showed up to deal with Dialga. I beat Cyrus, but i wasn't in much condition to face Dialga next. I used whatever potions i had left, and set about trying to capture the poke-god. I cannot believe how incredibly easy it was. I caught that thing with no problem. It only took me four ultra balls. So then i scaled down the mountains and rested up at the nearest town.
I decided to look into the three lakes with the three mirage pokemon next. They proved to be a bit more then i could handle, so i decided to wait till tomorrow and do some heavy-duty preparation for them.

I caught a murcrow and started training it. I took a long time, but i finally got it to lv. 41, and it learned mean look. I then used a dusk stone on it and made it evole into honchcrow. I raised it to lv. 45, and then went after mesprit. Unfortunately, mesprit was faster and ran off before i could even use mean look. I raised it to lv. 47 and tried again, but it still wasn't fast enough. So i tried lv. 50, and this time it worked. I tried using mean look, and then switching to a pokemon that could put it to sleep, but by switching out honchkrow, mean look ended and it ran. I chased it down again and just tried catching it without any status effects. I went through all 30 of my ultra balls, and then resorted to throwing timer balls. I finally caught it on my 8th timer ball.
Next was azelf. I tried putting it to sleep, but it kept using uproar which prevented it. So instead i tried using luxray, since both of it's electric moves can cause paralysis. I got it paralyzed and in the red, and i caught it using my 5th ultra ball.
Finally was uxie. This one i had difficulty with. I used the same paralysis strategy as azelf, but it still wouldn't get caught. I then tried lowering it's health even more, but it was already in the red, so i had to be careful if i wasn't gonna KO it. I tried lucario, since it's a fighting type, which does minimal damage against uxie's psychic type, and it had the HM move rock smash which has only 20 attack strength. I think i did get it down to about 1 HP. I finally caught it, with only a scant few ultra balls left.
Now that i caught the three mirages, i fly back to the nearest city, healed up, swapped out the pokemon i used against those three for my regulars, and then saved and quit for the night. Now that i have them, tomorrow i can continue onwards towards the final gym city.

Today, i traveled to the final city. Along the way, i found and caught a green gastrondon, and fought several trainers. As soon as i walked into the city, a member of the elite four showed up and practically begged me to fight the town's gym leader. Of course i was planning to anyways, but i wanted to check out the town first. I found a seal shop where i bought a bunch of seals. I got three new poketch apps. And quite surprisingly, i found a johto gym leader standing on the beach looking outwards. That, along with the red gyarados mentioned in the beginning, just further raises suspicion that there's gonna be a GS remake. Anyways, i found the gym leader hanging out at the town's lighthouse. I dragged him back to the gym and promptly kicked his ass. In thanks, that flint guy invited me to challenge the rest of the pokemon league, and the johto girl, Janine, gave me the last HM, waterfall. I gave it to my gyarados.
I was now ready to head out. I started surfing north of town. I found some good treasures and face some swimming trainers. I got to a waterfall, and had gyarados try out its new move. At the top was a pokemon center and a cave entrance. I healed up and entered the cave. Inside, i found many powerful trainers, and also lots of great treasures. With a lot of effort, i finally made it to the other end. Outside was one last waterfall with the league HQ at the top. Inside i healed up at the pokemon center, and restocked on supplies. Before i challenge the leage though, i need some more training. If i just stay near the entrance to the cave, i can easily back out to the pokemon center when my team gets exhausted from training. So far, i've gotten my team all to lv. 50. Tomorrow is more training. I hope to get to lv. 55 or 60 before i challenge the league.

I did some training today. I got 4 of my pokemon up to lv. 55. The other two are still at lv. 50. I do some more training tomorrow.

I got the rest of my team to lv. 55. I faced a final challenge from my rival, which wasn't too difficult, since his best pokemon wasn't much higher then lv. 50. After beating him, i was gonna take my team to lv. 60, but i was getting tired of training. Instead, i just took Luxray to lv. 56 and Son Goku to lv. 57, so that they could learn their final moves. I saved my game and was ready to take on the elite four. During my very first battle, i was already wishing that maybe i should've gone to lv. 60 after all. It was tough, but in the end i did manage to take them down. phew. So then i entered my team into the hall of fame, and sat back to watch the end credits.
When i got back to the title screen, I started the game back up. I was back in my bedroom, and i immediately opened up my pokedex. Sure enough, the Elite Four challenge gave me the last six entries i needed. I had to get my butt over to prof. Rowen's to show him. As soon as i walked downstairs, my mom told me that my rival ran off to canaclave's port and wants me to meat him there. That can wait though. I hopped on my bike and raced excitedly over to the prof.'s place in the next town. I showed him my dex, and the legendary prof. Oak walked in. He complimented me, and gave me my very own national pokedex. Yeah! Then Rowan gave me a poke radar. Double Yeah! I was excited to get my first national entry, though since it was late, i would only get one and then turn in for the night. After all, i have all day tomorrow to find more. I went to eternia forest, and headed to the abandoned chateaus. Along the way, i found and caught a wild metapod in the forest. So really, you could say that that is my first national dex entry. But still i entered the building. I headed inside and went straight to the tv. Rotom appeared, and i was surprised by it's low level of 15. I was luckily able to bring it's health down to red without fainting it, and i caught it on my 3rd or 4th ultra ball. So then i went back to the nearest town, saved, and called it a night.

Well, in a little bit i'm gonna leave to go on vacation for the whole weekend. I'm staying with my family at this small cabin in the middle of nowhere up north somewhere. The place has absolutely no internet access, so i'll see you guys monday. Bye
