So i woke up this morning and saw my mom was still home, cuz i guess she didn't have to work today. She tells me she's got some sad news. Now, my grandma's been hanging on by a thread for months now. They took her off of dialysis last May and only expected her to last another week. So i figured the time had finally come that she had passed on. But nope, that wasn't my mom's sad news. Instead it was my aunt who died. What. The. Hell. Apparently they just found her dead this morning. They don't know the cause just yet, but she has had a lot of problems with alcohol in the past, and it wouldn't surprise me if that was related. Now I wasn't really all that close to her, mainly because she tended to be verbally abusive to my mother, whether she was drinking or not, and that tended to really piss me off. But even still, I would never wish something like this on her. She was still family and i do still have some good memories from when i was younger. This is heavy. Also, nobody's told my grandma yet, but i imagine that's gonna be really hard on her, knowing that she's supposed to die soon, only to have her own daughter unexpectedly go before her.

Damn, dude, that is rough. Sorry to hear that. A similar thing happened in Yori's family, where someone on her death bed was informed that her daughter had just passed before her. It's probably better to just Not tell her.
