Well, we're doing it again. No, really this time.

So Much For My Save File is a gaming podcast put together by two joining communities: Chozo Sanctuary and The Spinning Stream. We gab, we share, we cry, we turn off Skype and wish we weren't alone on Valentine's day. The nerd life incarnate!

Go ahead and take a listen to our first episode. It's a bit of a trial run, feeling out the territory and exploring what works and what doesn't. The topic is Video Game Peripherals. We talk about what's come and gone, and what's still to come. We also christen this maiden voyage by sharing our own Save File Stories™ and having some technical problems as always.

You can follow the RSS feed here and download the latest episode.

And if you'd like to join my panel next time (date TBD) post here and we'll figure out how to make sure everyone gets a turn. The goal is to have no more than 5. This episode had 6 speakers, as well as about 3 that couldn't make it, even though they wanted to.

And remember: Always save twice!

Next Recording:

I'm listening to it now. Not far enough in to actually pass any judgment, but it does feel like a first try.

I'd like in on the second attempt. I enjoyed our first attempt and would like to keep doing this.

Hey, guys. Just curious if the download link is working for everyone. Someone reported a problem with the link, no matter how many times they tried to access it. On my end, it works, and I think a couple people have listened to it.

That's so cool.

Also, should we be labelled "explicit" because of language? I dunno how iTunes is on that.

I didn't listen to the episode yet, but if there was explicit language, yeah we should. I'll change it.

Also it's on iTunes twice, lol.

Any podcast I appear on will wind up being explicit.

Just saying that for future references.

I listened to a little bit, but not the whole thing yet. The intro seems weird. It seems to start in the middle of someone talking, then when they stop, there's a bit a a pause, and then BSGM starts doing the intro. Is it supposed to be f-ed up like that?

Also, it seems really hard to hear myself whenever i talk. Was it like that when we recorded? I was just using my laptop's built-in microphone, but if that ain't cutting it, I got a headset lying around somewhere that i can try and find before the next recording.

Morgil brings out the best in all of us.
