Yeah, that's still summer, which is a shitty time to launch games, but I thought it coulda slipped and launched even later. Where (or when, if in the video) did they say the exact launch date anyway? It seemed they deliberately did not state the launch date in the Nintendo Direct. Anyway, Pikmin 2 launched in August too [30th], so hopefully Pikmin 3 won't share the same fate. Then again, any later and it would have to contend with GTA V. I know it's a totally different audience, but there certainly are gamers out there who play both of those games, such as yours truly.
