I'll probably play Nintendo Land first, since i'm getting the bundled version anyway. The other game i have pre-order is Arkham City, but i'll still probably check out NL first.

Something interesting, though. I got a phone call on tuesday saying that Batman would be in the next day and be ready to be picked up. I didn't, because A) I didn't wanna waste gas driving into town; and B) What's the point of getting the game early when i don't yet have the system to play it on?

I put Scribblenauts, but if I can get that free New Super Mario Bros it's prolly gonna tie.

Scribblenauts is super fun, and really I never thought they'd find a way to so exponentially expand your dictionary to play with. Also, if you preorder, you get a cool hat.

As much as I want to get Wii U games at the start, they're just too expensive to get along with a new console.

So I'm probably going to play Wii stuff on Wii U (most likely I'll resume playing Kirby's Dream Collection first and then play SSB Brawl and GE Wii with X and Plant again at some point later on).

I chose Nintendo Land. I'm not dying to play that game, but I feel a fundamental need to play through that game first. The first things I'm gonna do is download the Day-1 Update, create my account, import my Miis from my 3DS and assign my 3DS Mii of myself to the default, and all that other technical preliminary shit. Once all of that's out of the way I'll play Nintendo Land so I can get a hands-on grasp of what gaming with creative GamePad integrationis like.

My launch games are going to be Nintendo Land, NSMBU, and ZombiU. As the first-party offering with a variety of GamePad uses, I'm most excited for Nintendo Land. It also uses some nice, shiny-ass lighting effects. NSMBU is the "true" first 1st-party game, so I'm most excited for it in that respect, even though the graphics don't even try to tease what Wii U is capable of. ZombiU will be my first Nintendo platform game with "current gen" graphics, and that's why I'm most excited for that game, and of course its use of the GamePad is innovative, too. But of course, I'm throwing superlatives across everything and they can't all be the games I'm "most excited" for. My point is that they all 3 have something I'm looking forward to, but based on what each game offers, I'm forced to choose Nintendo Land since it will serve as a fundamental Wii U tutorial in addition to a fun experience.

So I'm probably going to play... GE Wii with X and Plant again at some point later on).

Ugh gawd, you're gonna have to start at Level 1 again. >.< Oh wait! Not if you transfer your data over! .... But wait again--you can't power your Wii on, right? You can't transfarr your Wii shit without powering both it and Wii U simultaneously. >.<

My first game will be Nintendo Land. Honestly that and New Super Mario Bros. U are the only launch games I'm interested in, and I have no idea when I'll get Mario. Probably in a month or two I guess, unless I can get my family to go to Old Navy on Black Friday lol.

I'm probably gonna hold out on transfering my Wii data too, at least for a while. I'm not quite ready to never be able to play my primary Brawl/Mario Kart saves with a Cube controller again, or get anymore friend tokens in Corruption/Trilogy lol.

Yeah, I'm holding off for the same reason. I don't wanna fuck my Brawl up. I plan to have my TV rig set up with PS2, 360, Wii, and Wii U. Without Wii U, I don't have my GameCube games, and then there goes my ability to play THE BEST FUCKING GAME EVER, ay-kay-ay Tales of Fucking Symphonia. My NES, Genesis, and N64 are still not plugged in, but they were before I moved back to my house.

And on that, thought, it reminds me of a thread I wanted to make, but first....
