This thread is for posting when certain games, systems, etc. are pulled from stores for any reason (licensing expirations, copyrights, etc.).

On April 28, Bandai-Namco will be pulling Pac-Man Collection, NES Pac-Man, and Game Boy Pac-Man from Nintendo eShops on Wii U and 3DS in Japan.  This may turn out to be a worldwide pull from every region, so if you had your eye on one or more of these classics, better grab what you can now!

I'm glad I got Collection when I did.  That's the Pac-Man version I wanted.

For those that still have an original 3DS, Nintendo will no longer repair these systems.  A reminder, Nintendo stopped selling the original 3DS in 2015 so if you never sprung for a 2DS or a 3DS variant, you may want to look into it (and now including the "NEW" 2DS XL).

I guess original 3DS isn't part of the "3DS Family" anymore as far as Nintendo is concerned. :P

Project X Zone 2 like the first game will be pulled from the Nintendo 3DS eShop due to expiring licenses:

This will probably be a world-wide pull, so if you have an eye on getting your own copy, you better act now!  The game gets pulled on June 30th in Japan (which probably also means a pulling from US and Europe too).  If you're not sure on this game, the demo is still available, but will get pulled at the same time as the full game.

In Japan, production of the original 3DS and the smaller "NEW" 3DS has stopped.  Expect used prices for the original 3DS model and the "NEW" 3DS to go up as they become even harder to find in stores.

This just leaves the 2DS, the "NEW" 2DS XL, the 3DS XL, and the "NEW" 3DS XL as 3DS's still in production.

I guess nobody gives a shit about the small ones anymore. Initially I was hesitant to get an XL, but now I love the larger screen and find it awkward any time I try and use the old smaller one again.

NoA had said the "NEW" 3DS smaller model has not been discontinued in the US, but with Europe now saying the "NEW" 3DS smaller model is toast for PAL regions, we all know NoA is full of shit.
