The baaaaaabyyyyy.

Do you want an actual explanation of how to get through those things? I discovered it "naturally" in the game, but I could see how it would be non-intuitive.

Just roll through it with spider ball?
Srsly wtf, there's a common way?

You have to Spider Ball up a wall and use a Power Bomb while clinging to the wall (or clinging to the floor if you want to go up). This basically Shinesparks you all the way opposite from the wall/floor you're clinging to.

Fucking bullshit. I even did that a few times, but I didn't go far. I never thought it'd take me infinitely until hitting a wall. Fuck this game; preorder canceled.

I played this a little last night as J9 was hogging my ps4 TV and keeping me from my ORIGINAL games.

It's metroid. It's been done. I like the melee hit but I mean...I've played this game already. I'm not too hype on it yet. :(

Lol, "ORIGINAL" :D

Anyway, I beat this game with 100% collectibles. Super easy to 100%. On one hand it's nice to have hidden items identified on the map; on the other hand, it sucks that I kept thinking that the game would be at least a tiny bit harder by leaving at least SOME items uncharted on the map.

The final boss... Fuck that piece of shit. And no, I don't mean Jellyfish Mommy Dinosaur.

Justified bitching ensues:
(ripped from a text sent to torgo)

OMFG >:(
FUCKING RIDLEY?! I'M SO SICK OF ALL THE SHOEHORNING THIS FUCKER INTO METROID GAMES!!! AND YES, YOU'LL MAKE FUN OF ME FOR THIS, BUT, IT'S NOT MOTHERFUCKING CANON!!! STUPID ASS PIECE OF SHIT!! THEY EVEN MAKE THE FUCKING NEWBORN METROID ATTACK HIM?! FUCKING STUPIDASS BULLSHIT!!

Somehow, I should've known that plant would hate the awesome thing and rage on it being "not canon".

One of my favorite Metroid bosses is Nightmare from Fusion. I loved that he was in Other M, but the doesn't mean I'd blindly love it if he were in Samus Returns as part of the main story. That would greatly shit on the established history. The ending of Zero Mission was okay, because it adds something taking place after the point where the credits rolled. I thought that's what we'd be treated to in M:SR, but nope.
